Donaldson Filtration Systems announces new MD

Donaldson Filtration Systems (Pty) Ltd is pleased to announce the appointment of our new Managing Director, Rob Simpson.

Rob joined Donaldson in 1997 as a Sales Engineer for Hydraulics. In 1999, he was promoted to Product Specialist and then in early 2002 he became the General Manager of Industrial Hydraulics. Currently, he is the Sales Director for our Engine and Industrial Hydraulics businesses. Rob’s successful track record of leading businesses to strong sales growth and profitability will be an asset in managing and directing our businesses in Africa. His divisions have consistently performed well in challenging environments and he brings a results-oriented background to his new role.

He will assume his new responsibilities on 1 December 2008.

Rob is succeeding Mike Parfitt, who has accepted a position directing the Industrial Air Filtration and Industrial Hydraulics businesses in Donaldson Europe. Donaldson would like to thank Mike for his many contributions to our growth and success in Sub-Saharan Africa.
