Donaldson Filtration Systems, which has been an official supplier to Nissan Motorsport since 2002, is the naming rights partner of the Nissan team contesting the 2009 ABSA Off-Road Car Championship. The racing Nissan bakkies that have dominated the national off-road championship since 2001 are this year known as the Donaldson Nissan Navaras and they race in a new red and blue Donaldson colour scheme.
"Nissan Motorsport has enjoyed a very successful association with Donaldson Filtration Systems since 2002 and, with substantially increased support for our three-car Super Production class team contesting the 2009 off-road championship, we are very pleased that they have become our naming rights partner this season," said Glyn Hall, General Manager of Nissan Motorsport. "Donaldson is a global company renowned for the quality of its air filtration products and we look forward to a highly successful 2009 together," added Hall.
