In the 1970’s, the Torit TD was the first dust collection system to use pulse-jet,
self-cleaning cartridge filter technology developed by the Donaldson Company. Then in the
early 80’s Torit again set the standard in dust collection by taking full advantage of the
law of gravity with the introduction of the Downflo® dust collector, delivering extremely
high collection efficiency while consuming less energy. Today we have 16 distinct
collector lines and 16 different filter cartridges options.

Downflo® Oval Collectors
The Donaldson Torit Downflo Oval dust collector provides a 25% increase in airflow capacity; improved airflow path and 29% increase in pulse cleaning pressure in a compact, high-efficiency collector using unique, oval-shaped filters. There are 26 Downflo Oval models including DFO 1-1, DFO 2-2, and DFO 3-3, which are self-contained, “plug and play” type units.

Downflo II® Collectors
The Donaldson Torit Downflo II dust collector revolutionized dust collection in the 1980’s with a patented downward airflow design that delivers high filtration efficiency while consuming less energy. Each of these 23 Downflo II collectors and 13 filter cartridge options are engineered to work together as a system for optimum filtration efficiency.

Downflo® WorkStations (DWS)
The Donaldson Torit Downflo WorkStation is a flexible, modular, self-contained workstation that provides more filtration capability than other same-sized dust collector. DWS has several distinct features that prominently sets it apart such as ledgeless construction, unique oval-shaped Ultra-Web® cartridge filters, and reversible inlets. Two base power modules provide the building blocks for more airflow capacity and larger model variations. Requires no hoods or ductwork, and recirculates clean air for energy savings.

Vibra Shake™ Collectors
The Donaldson Torit Vibra Shake Collector is a self-cleaning collector that is best for intermittent applications where high collection efficiency is essential, such as reclaiming precious metals or dealing with toxic materials. The Vibra Shake design incorporates both automatic filter cleaning and sound attenuation as standard features. This makes the Vibra Shake a clean, safe alternative to traditional envelope collectors.

Downdraft Bench
The Donaldson Torit Downdraft Bench combines a ruggedly constructed work surface with a choice of six (6) different Torit-Built® filter cartridges. Other standard features are a fluorescent light fixture and large capacity dust drawers. The Downdraft Bench is ideal for polishing, hand sanding, dry buffing and steel grinding.

High Efficiency Downdraft Bench
The Donaldson Torit High Efficiency Downdraft Bench is designed with two stages of high efficiency filtration enhancing air quality for mailrooms during the mail sorting and handling process.

Environmental Control Booth™ (ECB)
The Donaldson Torit ECB is ideal for finishing large and irregularly shaped parts, and is specially designed to remove fine airborne dust without interfering with workers movement or visibility. The unique booth design is complete with lighting, soundproofing and built-in dust collection. It requires no ductwork, and re-circulates the cleaned air for reduced energy costs.

Ambient Air Tubesheet
The Donaldson Torit Ambient Air Tubesheet is a unique filtration unit that is designed to be used as the pre-filter in existing or built-up air handling and HVAC systems. Ambient Air Tubesheets offer an excellent alternative in industrial environments where ambient dust loading is too high for standard HVAC panel-type filters.

Bin Vent
The Donaldson Torit Bin Vent applies cartridge technology on continuous-duty, bin venting applications. It is used to vent displaced air and harmful products in bins or silos. The Bin Vent is compact in design, easy to install, eliminates ductwork and reduces installation expense.

The Original Torit Cartridge Collector
The Donaldson Torit TD is a continuous-duty style dust collector using standard pulse-jet technology for on-line filter cleaning. TD collectors offer efficient filtration for applications ranging in size from 300 – 2000 cfm. TD collectors require up to 25% less headroom and are easy to operate and maintain.

The Donaldson DFPRO™ collector
The Donaldson DFPRO™ collectors are expertly engineered dust and fume collectors for various applications including the laser cutting market. DFPRO™ collectors use oval filters making filtration more efficient, compact and cost-effective. Two DFPRO designs are available ranging from a small 3-filter model to a large 16-filter model.

The newly designed Donaldson Unicell™ dust collector accommodates a variety of applications and air volumes in small and large manufacturing facilities whilst conserving plant floor space. Unicell offers upto 25% more media via this highly efficient dust collection system.

DCE 100™

Siloair™ Series VS
The Donaldson Siloair™ Servies VS range consists of six units with filtration areas from 10m• to 28m• and can be applied to provide the right solution to silo-venting problems. Silo cartridges are manufactured of spun-bonded polyester media pleated and moulded into a star-shaped based resulting in optimum filtration area and cleaning performance.
