Metal Applications
The metalworking industry prepares metals and manufactures products from jewelry to airplanes in three application categories – 1) wet and dry machining, 2) mechanical surface cleaning and finishing, and 3) welding, cutting, and thermal spraying. The powder industry handles products ranging from lime used in treating water, to grains in preparing food, to pharmaceuticals in formulating medicine in applications ranging from nuisance dust filling and mixing operations to material transporting processes such as pneumatic conveying, bucket elevators, and bin venting.

 Wood Applications
The wood industry manufactures wood products ranging from toothpicks and pencils to cabinets, furniture, and log homes using applications such as sanding, planing, sawing, routing, drilling, lathing, and jointing. These woodworking applications generate small to large particulate in light to heavy volumes.

 Other Applications
There is an abundance of unique applications found in the chemical process, food and agricultural, metallurgical, mineral products, pharmaceutical, and other industries.
